A Conversation with Dad.

It's November so I can go to Bodnant Garden every day now. Here I am in deep discussion with dad as to where and when my next biscuit is coming from.

Highland Fling

This week I had an adventure to the Highlands of Scotland, it’s a very long way from Lancashire but I slept most of the way and woke up to views of mountains and lochs. A loch seems to be the Scottish word for a lake.

We stayed in a dog-friendly hotel so I could have breakfast with my pawrents, I even got a welcoming present from @bob_and_lush. Although I don’t think really I had to wear this funny hat before I could open them.

Dad said If I wanted to mingle in with the local pups, would have to learn a few Scottish sayings like "Och aye the noo” which is a real mouthful when you have a mouthful of biscuits and “ See You, Jimmy “.

I saw my first Scottish Castle, Castle Stalker which was built by the MacDougalls Clan so long ago that there where no Labradoodles around.

Mum tried to explain the Scottish Clan history which sounded a bit like Game of Thrones but without the dragons. They do have something called the Loch Ness monster which dad said might get me if I jumped in any of the lochs.

One day we went to one of mum’s favourite places in Scotland the amazing beach at Silver Sands. I love it too, your paws sink into the sand a bit so it’s just like running on snow.

Sadly we had to come home, but perhaps sadly is the wrong word to use as I love coming home too.

A blast on the beach at Barmouth

Barmouth Beach is one of my favourite beaches, it's a long long way from home so we don't go very often but it is simply paw-some. I made a new friend in this lovely poodle, she was very pretty. Mum said she was very elegant but when you are covered in sand and sea water elegant is perhaps not the best word to use. Either way, she couldn't catch me so I am not sure she was the perfect girl for me.

When Bailey met the Beatles

John, Paul, George, Ringo and Bailey. The Fab Four become Five. These rather large statues are apparently very very famous musicians 🎤 called the Beatles. I am not sure why I thought beetles 🐜  where little black insects that are rather crunchy.

Everything is Coming up Roses

Everything was coming up Roses at Bodnant garden this week. Mum said the Roses looked and smelt amazing, I was not so sure they didn’t smell like food so I was not convinced.

Not a pigeon in site, but loads of mud.

Dad took me up to the pigeon tower this week, found loads of mud on the way up. Not sure why it's called the pigeon tower because I didn't any and it's not much of a tower either.

Call me Mr Presidant

Dad got bored this week and decided I would suit a side parting. Apparently I look like someone called Donald Trump who is going to be President of the United Stated of America what do you think?

Creating a splash in Coniston.

A day in the Lake District the sun was shining and all was good except Mum had got the lens on her camera or something. Dad was trying to do a video of me splashing in some very cold water. However, I found a few sticks, experienced breaking ice under my paws for the first time and got to lick out dad’s cappuccino cup so I all ended up good in doodle world.
